You must understand English and be able to speak and write it. You don’t need to be fluent but at least have somewhat of an intermediate level.
We can facilitate internships abroad in almost every field of study.
In order for us to do this, it is important that we fully understand the requirements of your college and your personal wishes. Only then can we find the perfect match and best internship for you.
Yes, it is possible to complete your internship with a friend.
Please enter the name(s) of your friend(s) in the comments field when you fill in the application form. We will then do our best to provide you and your friends with internships at the same company.
The sooner you apply, the better.
Depending on your skills and experience, it usually takes 2–3 weeks to find an internship if you respond well to our partners’ needs. But more time is always preferrable. The sooner you apply the better the chance that we can arrange the perfect internship for you.
MAXexperience offers positions all year round. It is only important that you apply in time so that we have ample time to arrange things for you.
We can’t provide you with a 100% guarantee, but we do our utmost best to find all students an internship placement abroad.
MAXexperience charges a one time service fee from €300 to €450 to arrange all the required paperwork and formalities.
The mediation fee is to be paid only when you agree to the internship that we offered to you, by bank transfer. After an internship position is offered, you have 14 days to agree to the terms.
You should book your tickets once the duration and start date/end date of your internship have been finalized.
This really depends on each case, but typically we will do our best to provide you with another position elsewhere.
Unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds when you terminate your internship due to personal reasons. If you decide to leave, please discuss this first with your host/internship coordinator.
This depends on where you are doing your internship, but generally speaking, this is a rather bad idea. In most cases you will already be working hard during the week for your internship and an additional part-time job might have a bad impact on your final results.
In most cases, you are covered. If you are unsure, please reach out to your insurance agency.
Students from outside the EU will need a Travel & Medical insurance that covers them during the entire duration of their stay.
Most internships are unpaid, but almost all of our partners offer some kind of compensatiopn. This can include free accomodation, your meals and sometimes even a monetary stipend. Some companies will pay you up to 250 euros per month, but this is not guaranteed. Others will refund a part of your flights.
Many universities also provide scholarship funding to students that want to complete their internship abroad. Please talk to your internship coordinator or the international office of your school to see if you are eligble for a scholarship like the Erasmus+, Leonardo Da Vinci, DUO, etc. programmes.
Yes, of course they are welcome to visit you.
You can even talk to your supervisor or the management of the hotel to see if they’re able to offer you a discounted rate in case your family would like to stay at the same hotel.
Please arrange your days off prior to your internship with your supervisor in case you’d like to spend some extra time with your visitors.
